MY ARTWORK IS A COLORFUL EXTENSION OF MYSELF.
When feeling anxious, consumed with emotion, or simply overstimulated, I look to creating artwork as my outlet; It is my way of healing.
Being able to vent my trauma through illustrations, paintings, animations, tattoo, and collages has allowed me to process various aspects of life in color. In many ways, I utilize these mediums to project an extension of my life experiences and perceptions as a queer black female.
Healing through the translation of a concept from the minds eye into the natural world serves as my vehicle for energetic manifestation, and in some cases spiritual divination. Perceive my work at will, and take away what you need to heal and move forward in life.
MY WORK TAPS INTO A PURE VEIN OF EXPRESSION THROUGH THE HEALING PROCESS OF CREATING.
I INTEND TO CONTINUE TO SHARE MY WORK WITH THE WORLD IN HOPES THAT IT WILL INSPIRE ITS VIEWERS TO EXPRESS THEMSELVES AS WELL.
